Robert K. Lake, CPA
Partner
Bob is a founder of Lake, Hill & Myers and has over 30 years of audit and business consulting experience with a broad range of clients, with primary emphasis on real estate development, multi-family housing, affordable housing, non-profit organizations and wholesale-manufacturing-distribution businesses.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Utah, graduating in 1978. He currently serves as the Chair Elect on the Board of Directors of Volunteers of America-Utah.
Bob enjoys cycling, reading, hiking, St. George, and his Utes.
Ted L. Hill, CPA
Partner
Ted is a founder of Lake, Hill & Myers and has over 25 years of audit, tax, and business advisory services experience to a broad range of clients. He has worked in a variety of industries including real estate, construction, affordable housing, manufacturing, distribution, entertainment and technology. He also has significant experience auditing employee benefit plans and auditing and advising not-for-profit organizations.
Ted earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Utah in 1985. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Primary Children’s Medical Center and on the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants Tax Issues Committee.
In his spare time, Ted enjoys running, cycling and reading.
Gary J. Myers, CPA
Partner
After spending 10 years at an international public accounting firm and 3 years as CFO of a substantial non-profit organization with more than $50 million in annual revenues, Gary joined our firm in 1997 as a partner. Gary has extensive audit and tax experience with a wide variety of companies and non-profit organizations.
Gary earned his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 1984. He is currently a Member of the Private Companies Practice Section and the Tax Practice Section of the AICPA Division for CPA firms and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and a Member of the Audit Committee of UBS Bank USA, Inc.
In his free time, Gary enjoys spending time with his family at Bear Lake.
Jeff R. Sorensen, CPA
Audit Manager
Jeff joined our firm in 1999 and completed his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah in May 2002. Jeff specializes in financial statement audits of private entities, including health care and real estate industries, as well as audits of non-profit organizations and benefit plans. Jeff's hobbies include golfing, playing basketball, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Utah Jazz and spending time with his wife and four children.
Kelly C. Bryson, CPA
Audit Manager
Kelly earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Utah State University. He joined the firm in 2001 and completed his Masters of Accounting degree at the University of Utah in May 2002. Kelly specializes in financial statement audits of private entities, HUD audits, and non-profit organizations including single audits. Kelly enjoys spending time with his four children and working on home improvement projects with his wife.
Michael R. Criddle, CPA
Tax Manager
Mike graduated in 2000 with his Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Utah. He has been a licensed CPA since 2002. Mike worked for an international firm after graduation and joined Lake, Hill & Myers in 2007. Mike has 10 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns including individual expatriate and inpatriate tax returns as well as gift and estate, trust, corporate, partnership, benefit and non-profit returns. He enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family.
Charles W. Anderson, CPA
Charlie joined our firm in 2005 while completing his Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Utah. He has been a licensed CPA since 2007. Charlie has extensive experience in small manufacturing entities and benefit plans. His interests include sports and the outdoors.
Troy A. Graham, CPA
Troy graduated with an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Accounting and completed his Masters of Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2005. Troy worked in public accounting after graduation and joined our firm in 2009. Troy has experience in auditing a number of industries including construction, financial institutions, and benefit plans. His personal hobbies are running and playing with his children.
Spencer F. Brown, CPA
Spencer joined the firm in 2008 and earned his Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Utah in 2009. He has been a licensed CPA since 2010. Spencer has spent significant time completing financial statement audits of private companies in various industries and non-profit entities. His hobbies include playing basketball and cheering on the Utes football team and the Utah Jazz.
Lucas J Taylor
Luke joined our firm in 2008 while he was completing his education in accounting at the University of Utah. He completed his Masters of Accounting degree in 2011. Luke leads and assists in audits of privately held and not-for-profit organizations. He has experience in many audit fields including real-estate and A-133 audits. His interests include basketball, painting and Frisbee golf.
Mindy Siddoway
Mindy joined the firm in 2011 while finishing her education at the University of Utah. She will complete her Masters of Accounting degree in December 2011 and plans to take the CPA exam afterwards. Mindy works as a staff auditor on private and not-for-profit organizations. Mindy’s interests include tennis and DIY projects.
Kristy Erickson, CPA
Kristy joined the firm in 2010. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 2007 with her Masters of Accounting degree and moved to New York where she became a senior staff tax associate for an international firm. She returned to Utah in 2010 to be closer to family. Kristy has an emphasis in preparing tax returns for hedge funds as well as individual returns and most entity types. Kristy’s hobbies include singing and traveling.
Amber M. Huggard
Amber graduated from the University of Utah in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and joined our firm that same year. She provides a variety of services including tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, corps, S-corps and others. Amber enjoys cooking, gardening and motorcycle rides with her husband.
Aimee Arbon
Aimee joined our firm in 1995 after earning a degree in Office Education. In her 15 years of experience at our firm she has held several titles including Office Manager and Staff Accountant. She performs compilations and payroll processing for many of our clients. Aimee has developed and maintained invaluable relationships with our clients during her tenure here. Aimee loves exercising and chocolate mousse cheesecake.
Lisa M. Utley
Lisa graduated in 2002 from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's degree in English. She joined our firm in 2010 as the receptionist/office assistant. Lisa is a valuable member of our team who facilitates the quality and timeliness of our services. She enjoys home improvement projects, crafts, and reading.
